Store/Office: Check in, be warmly greeted and even escorted to your site, if need be. Enjoy a cup of coffee, or your favorite beverage, on our front porch, with some of the friendliest folks on earth. Ice Cream treats for the whole family.
Want to make s'mores or roast hot dogs? Forgot your tube to float down the river? You'll find just what you need, and save a trip into town. We do carry limited grocery items, a few souvenirs, toys, playing cards, basic camping supplies. Live bait, tackle, fishing poles, nets, you name it - we might have it.
Family fun is the name of the game at Peppertree.
Yes, your well-behaved pet is welcome, but remember to have their vaccination records on hand, and breed restrictions may apply. Please remember to be a responsible pet owner and clean up.
Yes, we want your friends and family to visit, but they do need to check-in and pay fees, as posted.
Yes, we have rules and regulations, which you will receive at check-in.
But the basics are: leave your site, and our beautiful campground, better than you found it. Treat your fellow campers, as you would like to be treated. If it sounds familiar, it is..."the golden rule". Put your garbage in the dumpster, and sort out the recyclables. We believe in "going green". Don't forget to wave good bye, until we see you next time.
Services - Peppertree Camping
LP Gas Filling: We are able to fill chassis-mounted motor homes, as well as portable tanks for your RV or gas grill. Please be sure that your tank meets current codes, including the "OPD" style valve. Filling times vary based on the season and we are unable to fill after dark.
Firewood: Firewood is available at the store. However, due to the threat of invasive species such as the Asian Longhorned Beetle, in accordance with the CT DEP, no outside firewood may be brought into Park. Once checked in, you may purchase firewood locally or from our camp store.
